MRIe is the entry MRI model that can perform Raman Spectroscopy without the need of a regular bulky microscope. The users may choose to use a fibre-optic probe, an objective or a digital camera for the purpose of positioning and sampling up to the required precision.
MRIe could also be equipped with a customised stage, special sample holders, or an extended arm to measure the materials out of reach. It has the advantages of mobility and flexibility for all kinds of field study.
Most common excitation sources are available for MRIe, including 473, 488, 532, 633, 785 and 808 nm laswers, with a 2048-pixel spectrometer and a 3-stage TE-cooled / regulated CCD.
